Along with her husband Rob, Karina Fabian is editor and contributor to Leaps of Faith. After being a straight-A student, Karina now cultivates Fs: Family, Faith, Fiction and Fun. From and order of nuns working in space to a down-and-out faerie dragon working off a geas from St. George, her stories surprise with their twists of clichés and incorporation of modern day foibles in an otherworld setting. Her quirky twists and crazy characters have won awards, including the INDIE book award for best fantasy (Magic, Mensa and Mayhem), an EPPIE award for best sci-fi (Infinite Space, Infinite God) and a Mensa Owl for best fiction (World Gathering), and top placer in the Preditor and Editor polls. In May 2010, her writing took a right turn with a devotional, Why God Matters, which she co-wrote with her father. Mrs. Fabian is former President of the Catholic Writer’s Guild and also teaches writing and book marketing seminars online.

Growing up, Mike Roop's parents encouraged and fostered creativity; he took to drawing and painting, singing and acting, reading and writing. His imagination drew him into not only writing and creating characters in print by prose and visually by illustration, but expanded when he discovered Role-Playing Games. RPGs, a widely misunderstood hobby, managed to combine numerous elements of creativity and boundless imagination. Mike met author Frank Creed on Shoutlife, a Christian social networking site and Creed invited him to design an RPG based on Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground. The result, Join the Underground, is Mike's first published project. He would like to complete a series of children's adventure books that he has been developing for his kids and grandkids.
Mike and his wife Diane live in southern Missouri. They have been blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren and the family are active members of their local church.
