Sue Dent hails from Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi College in 1983. Since graduating she's sold computers, taught computer classes and has worked as a Technical Specialist IV for the Mississippi Department of Natural Resources.
Her first book Never Ceese was published in May of 2006. It has since been short-listed for a Bram Stoker Award in the category of Superior Achievement in a First Novel. Never Ceese was also voted book club choice for the month of April 2007 at the ACFW (American Christian Writers Association.)
In March of 2007 Sue was one of four invited guest of Nicholas Grabowsky to the World Horror Convention in Toronto Canada. Never Ceese was also at Comic-Con 2007 in San Diego courtesy of Head Press Publishing friend, Bob Luedke.
Sue's writing continues to draw wonderful responses from general market readers and unbelievable attention from readers of the market the bigger Christian publishers serve, an audience she never expected attention from. "It's too bad the bigger Christian publishers won't step outside of their boxes," Sue says. "But they have their specific audience. It's not for me to tell them they should write any other way."
Sue's sequel to Never Ceese, Forever Richard, is moving right along. It was released January 5th, 2009 boasting a book blurb from The British Fantasy Society.
