This career reference book removes the mysticism and relieves the anxiety that surrounds the interview process to enable the effective selling of oneself. The
discussion, unique exercises and techniques, as well as vignettes and resources guide the reader through the process of self-discovery and confidence-building
and then on to using the knowledge to create a stellar interview presentation. Information found on the Why Shouldn't We Hire You? is copyrighted under US law

I really enjoyed the preparation for the interview presented in the right breadth and
depth of knowledge with the appropriate amount of true life examples and humor. I
like the honest common sense tone of the book.

This book is written for anyone interviewing for an employment position and is
about how the interview can win you the job.

The book is organized in 2 parts: first, plan and implement the interview, and
second, coaching. I really enjoyed the preparation for the interview presented in
the right breadth and depth of knowledge with the appropriate amount of true life
examples and humor. I like the honest common sense tone of the book such as:
the rule of thumb of not mentioning salary first in Chapter 10. In part 2, the Top 6
reasons for rejection are good to know so you can avoid the same mistakes or
understand and adapt. Also, current employment agencies are appropriately
covered as potential opportunities.

The book, Why Shouldn’t We Hire You, is an informative and insightful self help
book I wish I had read before interviewing. The book will appeal to anyone
interviewing for employment. The book focuses frankly on negative and positive
aspects of the interviewee, as well as, provides in depth knowledge of the interview
process. Why Shouldn’t We Hire You is so positive my only suggestion is, Why We
Should Hire You,may be a more appropriate spin.
