This career reference book removes the mysticism and relieves the anxiety that surrounds the interview process to enable the effective selling of oneself. The discussion,
unique exercises and techniques, as well as vignettes and resources guide the reader through the process of self-discovery and confidence-building and then on to using
the knowledge to create a stellar interview presentation. Information found on the Why Shouldn't We Hire You? is copyrighted under US law and is owned by the authors

Why Shouldn’t We Hire You
D. Endress & R. Venckus

Review by John M. Neis, BBA, MBA, JD

At first glance, Why Shouldn’t We Hire You? By David Endress and Ron Venckus
targets people seeking employment, as a guide through the job-seeking process.
After closer review, the book is also an excellent resource for anyone who is
employed.  It provides valuable insights about how to market yourself once you're
in the work environment.

The book’s emphasis on preparation is expansive, thorough and specific.  One of
the book’s strengths is the clear step-by-step process it lays out to prepare for a
variety of challenges encountered during the hiring process.

Why Shouldn’t We Hire You? Is an excellent resource for anyone in the workplace
who wants an extra advantage in meeting the challenge of getting hired and
staying employed.  I admit that the title does not work for me.  It is used
throughout the book, and it is a stopper, detracting from the book’s
effectiveness wherever it appears.
